Grace, who capped a remarkable tournament by edging Scotland's Marc Warren by a single shot, added: "The organisation of the Qatar Masters Golf Championship strongly emphasizes the ability of Qatar in organizing any event with great success."
He said the facilities in Qatar are among the best in the world, and thanked the organizing and administrative staff as well as the volunteers and for their outstanding work during the tournament.
Grace said that he recommended people visit Qatar to view for themselves the preparations that the country is undergoing ahead of the biggest football tournament in the world: "All those who criticize Qatar for organizing the 2022 FIFA World Cup certainly did not see what we saw, and they don't know how the Qataris are working to prepare to host the World Cup."
