Prior to the live screening of the third/fourth place playoff on 12 June, the Supreme Committee for Delivery & Legacy will be celebrating the traditional Garangao night of the holy month of Ramadan at the Brazil 2014 Fan Zone at Katara.

Garangao is traditionally celebrated on the 14th night of Ramadan where children get dressed up in traditional and colorful clothing, visit homes in their neighborhood and collect sweets and nuts. The night is also celebrated with traditional songs."We have a special night planned for the families on Saturday," said Jawaher Al Khuzaei, Public Relations Manager at the Supreme Committee for Delivery & Legacy. "The Kids' Corner features special activities, face painting and a soft play area. We are encouraging guests to come in traditional clothing and to experience a very special night for the Qatari and regional community," said Al Khuazaei.

On a night ideal for families to celebrate, the Fan Zone will be themed around Qatari and Arabian Gulf traditions and customs, where guests will be given candy and other sweets. Before and after the live broadcasts, there will be a variety of other entertainment suitable for the entire family.

Doors for the event open at 9 PM, to attend visit Doha Exhibition Centre to get a ticket for the event and enjoy the festivities. Demand for the Fan Zone has been high, so get there as early as possible to secure your place.
