Wonho Chung performed at the fan zone on the opening night and spoke of his pride in being selected to help launch such a critical project for the Supreme Committee for Legacy & Delivery.

He said: "I was delighted to be in the opening shows of the fan zone, it was a great honor for me to be part of Qatar's celebration of launching this huge project, this project confirms the commitment of Qatar and its seriousness in providing cooling service technology for the 2022 World Cup and beyond."

Commenting on the tournament so far he backed either Brazil or Argentina to win the tournament: "I expect Brazil to be favourites for the tournament led by their star Neymar and backed by the power of their fans. I also think Argentina have a great chance of winning because Messi is such a great player."

Finally, Wonho stated that he looked forward to seeing fans from across the world enjoying the World Cup in Qatar:

"The tournament will be a triumph for Qatar and the whole Arab region. Fans from across the world will get the chance to see a glimpse of what the World Cup will be like in Qatar."
